Choose the comparison question first
Highest listed salary, best fit for a short session and quickest next promotion are different goals. State which one matters before entering numbers in the comparison tool.
A career routine includes eligibility, travel and the next requirement. A headline wage on its own cannot describe whether that routine fits your current character.
Collect comparable inputs
Use the same period for both alternatives. If one pay figure is only a menu label and the other is a completed receipt, keep that distinction visible in your notes.
Include the non-money comparison
The calculator can compare entered net pay and modeled hours. It cannot verify career access, actual duration or a promotion trigger, so those belong in a separate decision sheet.
| Detail | Why it changes the decision |
|---|---|
| Available entrance | A listed wage is unusable if work is blocked |
| Skill gap | Training may add time or an item cost |
| Commute | Gross pay can hide travel expense |
| Recovery | A larger shift gain may need extra recovery |
| Confirmed result | A receipt is stronger income evidence than a label |
Avoid a speed ranking without matched runs
The full Banking run and earlier partial departure used different starting conditions. They did not establish which mode or career promotes faster.
A useful speed comparison includes waiting, training, complete work and a confirmed title change. A large in-shift performance jump alone is not the whole elapsed routine.
Should I switch careers to test a guide?
First inspect what rank, requirements and conditions the new option would actually use. The reviewed reports did not establish universal progress retention after switching.
What makes a comparison useful? You can explain both the numerical scenario and the practical availability. Your preference can then reflect a real trade-off rather than a headline.

Check what each source records. A menu label and a completed playtest are different kinds of evidence.
